Rahmatullah Bakhshi founded Mr. Accountant LLC to give individuals and owner-operated businesses accurate accounting, dependable financial reporting, and practical financial guidance.
Before establishing the firm, he served as a Senior Financial Auditor with the Supreme Audit Office of Afghanistan, performing financial audits under the direct professional supervision of KPMG and Deloitte. That work deepened his command of audit procedures, internal controls, financial compliance, risk assessment, and the review of complex financial records.
Today he works across the complete accounting cycle — bookkeeping, payroll processing, tax-preparation support, financial-statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit-card reconciliations, general-ledger review, month-end closing, and cash-flow management. He is fluent in both cash-basis and accrual-basis accounting, helping businesses keep reliable records for management, tax, lending, and compliance.
He holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration and completed graduate studies in Development Economics at the University of Florence. He carries the ACCA professional accounting qualification and is currently pursuing CPA licensure in the United States alongside an MBA at a California State University. His technical toolkit spans U.S. GAAP, IFRS, QuickBooks Online, advanced Microsoft Excel, and Stata.
